Jennifer Lopez x Inglot promo shoot
Jennifer Lopez’s impressive resume already boasts singing, acting, dancing and fashion designing. However, there’s no stopping the multi- hyphenate beauty with Puerto Rican origins as she recently revealed she’s launching her own skincare line. Skincare mogul is the perfect next career step for the megastar, who is known for her youthful appearance and radiant complexion. Despite turning 50 next summer, Jenny from the Block’s skin is flawless and lustrous, with hardly a wrinkle or pore in sight. And we can’t wait for her skincare secrets to finally be within reach.
For years, everyone has been asking how to achieve that insane J.Lo glow and speculation has only been rising as the actress gets older. And when moderator Yari Blanco asked Lopez about her personal skincare regimen during a speaking event in New York City, where she was promoting her new film “Second Act,” she finally revealed that just like her character in the film, she’s venturing into the skincare business.
"I've been working on it for a long time because I don't want to put [just] anything out," she said "I want it to be something that encompasses all the things I've learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesn't have anything to do with needles or anything like that just so you know.” And being the perfectionist she is, she added the personal project is “going to be something that works. That's what you can count on when my name is on something."
It’s not the first time Lopez, a mother of two, has made waves while dipping into the beauty industry. She has had several perfume releases, including, wait for it, “Glow,” and in April this year fans went wild when her make-up line with Inglot was unveiled. The 70-piece limited edition beauty collaboration included eyeshadows, sculpting powders, lipsticks, eyelashes, blushes, bronzers, highlighters and the noteworthy "Freedom System Palette," which let consumers create custom palettes.
While the details are vague about the new skincare line, without any news about the exact products or the name, one thing is for sure; it’s set to drop in late 2019. So mark your calendars and have your credit card on standby because we’re betting there are some fabulous bronzers, highlighters and glowing products to bless us. Until then, perhaps we should try some of the lifestyle habits Lopez says enhance her beauty, including avoiding caffeine, drinking lots of water, sleeping well, working out and meditating.
