Brahms Chouity, one of the Arab world's leading food and lifestyle media content creators recently won at the World Bloggers Awards. Chouity, better known as "DaddyFoody," earned the Best Comfort Food prize at the lavish event that took place at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes.
After the red carpet rolled out for the first ever World Blogger Awards, Lebanese Brahms was absolutely stunned when he heard his name called out. An elated Brahms took to his Instagram account and immediately shared a moment from the evening, with the golden winning trophy in his hand, "I feel extremely pleased and proud to win such a prestigious award at such an elite gathering of my peers. I believe that this achievement rewards all of my hard work and perseverance in the field of content creation, and I dedicate it to all my amazing fans. This is a pivoting moment in my blogging career, and I promise you bigger and better things to come," he said.
After 200 influencers were selected to the short list, 42 finalists, in the final and superfinal categories, were awarded. The Lebanese Abdulaziz Sisters, who won Best Sisterhood, also made the region proud, as did Nusret Gokce, the Turkish chef and restaurateur nicknamed Salt Bae, who won Best Celebrity Influencer. Plus, English Leyla Brunton scooped the trophy for Best Middle East Style.
The gala dinner was attended by the world's blogging glitterati. Notable superfinal winners included worldwide sensation Gianluca Vacchi, the headliner of the event and winner of King of Instagram, the grand prix. Supermodel Victoria Silvstedt, who walked away with Best Glamour Influencer, and Kim Kardashian's BFF Jonathan Cheban (better known as @FoodGod), who won Best Food Influencer, were also present.
