There’s always a first time for everything, just like adidas Originals and Namshi’s all-white celebration in Jeddah. The recent ultra-cool event, held in the beautiful Red Sea city’s Al Athr Art Gallery, celebrated the latest Home Of Classics footwear collection by the leading sports brand.
For the reveal of the new collection, the renowned gallery was transformed into a modern, purely white party set to reflect the signature all-white classics honouring the Originals sneaker. And the idyllic clubhouse tied together elements of tennis and basketball to link back to adidas’s shoe heritage, complete with references throughout that called back to the brand’s campaign.
Some the region’s leading personalities, like Muhannad Al Harbi, Faisal Alghazzawi and Nirvina Abdul, were able to enjoy a fully immersive brand experience, including a variety of arcade games and interactive installations. To ensure guests had a good dose of classic fun, there was also a basketball machine, table tennis set-up, foosball table and an Instagram-friendly all-white ball pit that allowed adidas and Namshi’s loyal Jeddah-based customers and Jeddahwi influencers to add quirky boomerangs to their feeds.

As well as the mini-sport games, the launch celebration offered guests the chance to win prizes and listen to upbeat and electrifying music by KSA’s very own female DJ, Cosmiccat. She took over the deck that stayed true to the all-white theme with a cool mix, while an interactive e-comm station offered attendees the option to shop the Home of Classics drop on Namshi directly, using a discount code.

The latest Home of Classics pack is composed of shoes that don’t rely on high-tech features, but on the same simple and iconic building blocks: three stripes, white leather and rubber. The Home of Classics launch also features all-time classics like the Stan Smith, Superstar 80s, Continental 80, Rivalry Lo and A.R. Trainer.
