Lottie Moss, the star of the CHANEL spring/summer 2017 eyewear campaign, adds a bright spark to a shade-y situation in a campaign photographed by CHANEL’s Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld. The 19-year-old Moss presents four pairs from the new collection sporting wild, crimped blonde hair, styled with the house’s favourite camellia flower amidst a feminine rose-peach coloured background.
The mood in one picture, which features some pantos optical glasses in translucent acetate, is about everlasting elegance and effortlessness as she poses in a nude crêpe-georgette dress. Moss, who is Kate’s younger sister, also shows off a pair of curved XXL sunglasses with a butterfly frame, enriched with 18-karat yellow gold lenses. She tops off the look wearing an off-the-shoulder seductive black lace number.
Another shot sees the 168 cm-tall Moss in a Lolita-like pose, teasingly exposing a shoulder in an unbuttoned silky red blouse. This time, the blue-eyed beauty is wearing a pair of 60s-style round glasses with 18-karat rose gold lenses, an ode to the Woodstock era. Last but not least, Moss takes on a futuristic look in a pair of glasses that have lenses etched with lines of code that spell CHANEL. The digital queen inspiration comes from CHANEL’s “Data Center spring/summer Ready-to-Wear assortment.
The CHANEL ambassador, who walked the runway for the “Paris Cosmopolite 2016/17 Métiers d'art” collection, is working alongside other young talents Lily-Depp Rose and Willow Smith.
