DIFC, Dubai’s financial district, housed a number of Salvador Dali’s most iconic works of art earlier this year. The exhibit ran from February – April 2018 – but fret not if you missed it! Dali’s incredibly famous works are set to return to the UAE this month.
Around 60 pieces of the surrealist artist’s creations will be on exhibition from the 19th of June until the end of August at COYA, which is situated at the Four Seasons Resort in Jumeirah Beach. Titled “The World of Dali”, the exhibition has been curated by Alpha Soul in collaboration with COYA, which is an arts and culture company.
Alpha Soul has also been responsible for previous exhibitions that have been incredibly successful, featuring major international artists, including showcasing Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro at the Burj Khalifa in 2016.
“The World of Dali” will host the renowned artist’s photographs and lithographs sourced from private collectors, as well as images of Dali taken by Robert Descharne.
This exhibition aims to allow visitors a journey into the mind of a globally acclaimed artist who was often described as “eccentric”, as well as an understanding of his surrealist works including Space Elephant, Surrealist Gastronomy and Surrealist King, which are all set to be exhibited.
If Salvador Dali’s curious nature catches your fancy, this is your opportunity to immerse yourself into his world.
