October 21st 2018 will mark Saudi Arabia’s second edition of the kingdom’s very own fashion week.
Following the Arab country’s first ever fashion show founded and hosted by H.H Princess Noura Bint Faisal Al Saud, in April this year, Saudi Fashion Week has announced its return.
From October 21st-25th, the city of Riyadh will host spring/summer 2019 collections by emerging local designers as well as globally renowned names.
“The Saudi Fashion Community is thrilled to announce that a program was created for Saudi Top Emerging Designers. We will shortly be revealing the six shortlisted designers that will be part of the second edition of Saudi Fashion Week in October,” reads a statement on their website.
Posting on Instagram, the organization shared a snap of their pre-show press conference, captioning, and “It's a full house tonight in the occasion of the Saudi Fashion Week & Community press gathering. We are proud to have founded and created such an initiative for the world of fashion in Saudi Arabia.”
Last season, Saudi’s fashion week saw 15 designers present their AW18 collections, some of which included, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Aiisha Ramadan, Maison Alexandrine, Basil Soda and Arwa Al Banawi.
Keep your eyes peeled ladies, as registration, tickets and VIP packages will be available soon.
