Duha Shabib, the Founder and Managing Director of Not-A-Clichè, recently said, “I do” to Omar Darwish. Unsurprisingly, a prestigious crowd was invited to the couple’s fairytale ceremony in Cairo’s Saladin Citadel.
For the nuptials at the preserved historical fortress, which is famous for its fresh breeze and grand views of the city, the gorgeous Shabib wore a wedding dress designed by Mrs Keepa. The gown, which she accessorised with Jimmy Choo shoes, featured standout shoulders, sheer, long sleeves and an iconic belt.
On Instagram, The American University of Cairo graduate thanked her friend, Egyptian-French designer Mariam Yehia, for creating her “dream dress” in less than 48 hours. Shabib ensured her beauty look was top-notch for her big day too. She had her make-up done by Lobna Farid, while her hair was styled by Rizk Hair Studio.
The bride also wore a stunning floral mini dress with puffy sleeves by the same label for a pre-wedding celebration. The party saw the bride and groom and their friends dance the night away in Zamalek’s Lemon Tree & Co.
Shabib was a financial analyst and investment banker before moving to Dubai to work in communications. She then went on to establish Not-A-Clichè. The Dubai-based “hybrid” communications agency specialises in social media, digital marketing, creative solutions and branding.
