This year, the Cannes Film Festival delivered epic amounts of glamour as Hollywood royalty, the fashion industry’s finest, influencers and supermodels pulled out all the stops on the South of France’s famed Croisette. And there were lots of killer updos to boot while the crème de la crème celebrated a host of new cinema releases. There was a wealth of stylish summer-appropriate up-dos, with buns and top knots taking centre stage. Pretty plaits, which can add an instant bohemian aesthetic while beating the heat, were another major trend spotted on the red carpet during the 72nd edition of the festival.
