Rihanna is one of the most talked about female celebrities as she accomplishes one major goal after another. Not only is she one of the music industry’s biggest stars, she’s also a savvy businesswoman with a number of enterprises under her belt.
Following the launch of her newest business, a fashion line, after her successful makeup and beauty company, RiRi, at just 31, has now been proclaimed the music industry’s richest woman.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna
The globally renowned star, originally from Barbados, made it in the Forbes magazine’s “80 richest self-made women in America” list and ranked at 37, having her wealth totaled up at USD 600 million, beating Celine Dion (USD 450 million) and Beyoncé (USD 400 million).
Robyn Rihanna Fenty’s most valuable asset is her line of makeup, Fenty Beauty, which was a major deal as she launched her inclusive line with 40 shades of foundation, with a luxury quality at affordable prices. Fenty Beauty made over USD 570 million within its first year and is still going strong. Speaking to the New York Times Rihanna said, “I never thought I’d make this much money, so a number is not going to stop me from working.”
Making history once again, Rihanna became the first black woman to also create and launch an original brand, also called Fenty, under the luxury umbrella of LVMH. Not only are we excited to see what her new fashion line will have in store for us, but we’re also looking forward to her ninth album, R9, which will be release by the end of 2019. Now she is what we call #lifegoals.
