Louis Vuitton’s affiliation with the art world has just skyrocketed with “Olive,” their Jeff Koons collaboration. The renowned New-York based contemporary artist’s “Gazing Balls” paintings, a series of reproductions of works by Old Masters including da Vinci, Van Gogh and Rubens, have been superimposed onto Louis Vuitton’s most iconic bags like the “Speedy,” the “Keepall” and the “Neverfull.” As well as having the original artists’ names boldly inscribed on the bags, Koons has redesigned the French luxury brand’s monogram and included his initials. Each bag also carries the artist’s signature inflatable rabbit motif.
