With their empowering and unique designs and concepts, the label’s pieces are creatively drawn from the community’s distinctive tastes, authenticity and the importance attributed to personalization.
Founded in 2012, DARLANA is the creative vision of Ghormallah Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi and Hanan Saad Abdulaziz, a married couple who share a passion for fashion. Through the label named after their daughter, the imaginative duo is aiming to enhance and embellish traditional eveningwear styles in the GCC market. They also intend to highlight all women’s uniqueness.
As well as finding a wide variety of eye-catching designs, the region’s fashion forward clientele has the option of customizing any pieces they buy, whether it’s to accommodate a certain silhouette, style preference, personality or event mood.
“In a world of mass-production and fast moving fashion, we aim to create wardrobe pieces to last a lifetime, eveningwear to embody the modern woman, traditional with a twist. We bring a personal touch with our bespoke customization service, to celebrate all women’s individuality, by complementing their personal styles,” Al-Ghamdi, the Founder & CEO, said. While Al-Ghamdi is busy leading the business side, his wife is in charge of the creative studio.
