After the success of the Women Power Summit 2018, the largest gathering for female leaders in the MENA region, attendees have a lot to look forward to at this year’s edition. The Women Power Summit 2019, being held in Manama, Bahrain on October 13-14, is set to connect and bring together 80 male and female leaders. With the theme ‘Women in Leadership: Inspiring Action and Leading Change’ in mind, the trailblazers from different fields will address key points about working together and communicating. Speaking in front of around 2,000 attendees, they will also touch on forging stronger relationships within teams and discuss the workplace environment between individuals.
Inspiring speakers like Samar Habayeb, the CEO of Silsal Design House, Leena Al Olaimy, the Co-Founder of Diversity on Board, and Mashael Fairooz, the Managing Director of JEO, will be sharing their various personal stories. Other interesting speakers at the two-day event include healthy lifestyle blogger Areej Matooq, Hiba Sawah, a transformative life and business coach, Latifa Al khalifa, the Co-Founder of Clever Play, and Raha Moharrak, the youngest Arab and first Saudi woman to conquer Mount Everest.
As well as keynote discussions, there will be interactive workshops, panel sessions, industry-focused groups and a Power Pitch (Tech) competition. Plus, there are two evening programmes with speed networking and a movie screening.
The aim of the event is to connect and empower women by providing them with access to network. Entrepreneurs can also benefit from fostering collaboration, mentorship or partnership opportunities and looking into new investment prospects. The summit strives to offer knowledge that can lead to innovation, success and creating positive change too. Additionally, gender equality gaps in the workplace are highlighted, while links between individuals and companies are created.
