We all knew that the 25th James Bond was due to be released next year, but we weren’t sure of what this one would be titled, and now we have the answer.
A teaser of the forthcoming feature film was posted on 007’s official Twitter account where it was also announced that the next movie would be called No Time To Die. Expected to premiere at cinemas in the first week of April 2020, James Bond himself will be played, for his fifth and final appearance as the British double agent, following the success of 4 films in the Bond franchise.
Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek will play the part of a villain, alongside other Hollywood A-listers including Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. The narrative of No Time To Die will depict agent 007 in retirement from his service, in Jamaica, until an accomplice, Felix Leiter of the CIA seeks his help. The official summary of the upcoming blockbuster states, “The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
The highly anticipated film was set for release in November 2019, but was pushed back after British director Danny Boyle resigned his position and was replaced by filmmaker Cary Joji Fukunaga.
