Al Wehda Club recently has announced that businesswoman, Kholoud Attar, is going to manage the media center of the multi-sports club, thus becoming the first woman to head a media center for a Saudi club.
The club announced the news through their Twitter account by stating: “We have recently signed a contract with the company KAAPH, headed by Kholoud Attar to manage the media center of Al Wehda Club.”

Al Wehda Club is a Saudi Arabian social, cultural and sports club, based in the city of Mecca and founded in 1945. The establishment had several names, before finally registering as Al Wehda, which means “unity”. It was officially registered as a sports club in the General Directorate of Sports and Scouts, affiliated to the Ministry of Interior Saudi Arabia which was officially supervising Saudi sporting activity in 1945.
About Khouloud Attar
Attar is a savvy businesswoman with a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Dar al-Hikma in Jeddah. In 2007, she founded Design magazine in Jeddah, the first Saudi Arabian magazine to take care of creativity and design in printable issues and online, and is the Creative Director of it.
Kholoud Attar also founded KAAPH for Publishing and Distribution, and is the first Saudi woman to obtain a license to import and distribute cinematic films. She has become a seasoned publisher in the last decade and more after the creation of KAAPH (Kholoud Abdel Rahman Attar Publishing House). Attar leads a team of 18 members at KAAPH Studio, and various sections of KAAPH from publishing to production Media, branding, social media and event management.
Now, she is building up another project that will be a company specialized in design, decor, fashion and graphics, and would be the first of its kind in the Kingdom. Forbes has ranked her as one of the most inspiring figures in Saudi Arabia.
