Emirate To Put on a Record Breaking NYE Firework Display

A spectacular fireworks display and being surrounded by loved ones is always a memorable way to ring in a new year, but what about a display that promises to bedazzle you and trump last year’s?

For NYE 2019, the Ras Al Khaimah tourism board has announced that their spectacular New Year’s Eve plans will attempt to break two Guinness World Records with their event, #RAKNYE2020. The display is anticipated to include outstanding pyrotechnics and Japanese aerial shells, just so you know that Ras Al Khaimah is serious about delivering a night to remember.

The Emirate is known to have broken records in the past for some incredible New Year’s Eve events, including last year, at which two Guinness World Records were broken for the longest straight line of fireworks and the longest chain of fireworks, as well as the record for the largest aerial firework shell.

With so many unbeatable feats under their belt, we’re excited to see what Ras Al Khaimah has in store for us this year.

It won’t be just fireworks for NYE in Ras Al Khaimah putting on a visual extravaganza, but also some fabulous appearances by celebrity guests. Some of our favourite Arab performers have been known to make appearances across the UAE for the country’s biggest NYE events, and this year will be no different – we just don’t know who has been chosen this year.

Those hoping to be in Ras Al Khaimah for the NYE extravaganza will have the best seats if they manage to grab a spot along the Al Hamra Village and Al Marjan Island, or on the North and South bays of the island, directly in front of the Doubletree Hilton Resort and Spa.
