The daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikha Maryam Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, just got married to Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohammad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan in a private ceremony last Thursday.
A member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, Sheikh Khaled graduated from British Royal Academy Sandhurst in the UK and was awarded the Major General Diwan Misri Chand Platoon Award for “demonstrating outstanding innovation and purpose” whilst training.

Having announced their engagement, which took place on August 28th last year, a traditional Emirati ceremony was held on September 19th 2019. A number of members of the Emirati royal families took to social media to congratulate the newly-weds.
The Emirati princess’s wedding has taken place following the weddings of her three brothers, including Dubai’s Crown Prince, H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who married Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation. The marriages were celebrated in Dubai World Trade Center this July just after Ramadan.
