It’s not the first time Queen Bey has been seen sporting creations by some of the regions most loved Arab designers, and she’s just turned heads once again in a sequined creation by Kuwaiti designer, Yousef Al Jasmi.
The star responsible for hits like Crazy In Love and Formation, graced Tyler Perry Studios’ Grand Opening Gala in a floor length, gold sequined figure hugging gown, with a high neckline and full length sleeve and paired the dress with a red lip, silver rings and diamond encrusted earrings, complete with her hair in a long braid.
Known for also dressing the likes of Sofia Richie, Lady GaGa, Cardi B and Paris Hilton, Al Jasmi is known for his signature love of all things sparkly, including crystals and sequins in figure hugging silhouettes and first broke out onto the fashion scene when he launched his label in 2007.
Styled by Beyonce’s stylist, Zerina Akers, who was also responsible for the international superstar’s looks on her 2016 Lemonade visual album, the hit-maker first rocked a Yousef Al Jasmi creation in her “Sorry” music video in a black Swarovski-detailed bodysuit. Other Arab designers Beyonce has been spotted in, include, Lebanese label Jean Louis Sabaji, Elie Saab, Reem Acra, Zuhair Murad, Donia Allegue, and Okhtein.
