Mariah Carey is known for her sultry voice and mega festive hits, not to mention her glamorous style, and now she is about to grace Dubai with her presence and a fabulous performance. The highly anticipated performance comes as part of a celebration that will mark the one year countdown to Expo 2020.
Emirati singer, Hussain Al Jassmi will be joining the international singer/songwriter on stage at 8:20pm on October 20th as the UAE will celebrate being exactly 365 days from the opening of the annual expo. Not Carey’s first time in Dubai, fans saw the All I Want For Christmas Is You singer headline the Emirate’s Jazz Festival in 2017.
The performances will take place at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai, with the Burj Khalifa as the evening’s backdrop. The concert is free, and attendees will not only enjoy the fabulous performances by renowned global stars, but will also be wowed by a special LED show on the Burj Khalifa to celebrate “one year to go”, as well as a fireworks display.
Mariah Carey and Hussain Al Jassmi will be joined by Abri and the Funk Radius, Khalifa and DJ Bliss. Though tickets to the event are free, visitors must register their places via platinumlist.net. Tickets will guarantee entry before 7pm, but admission will be subject to site capacity thereafter.
