If you follow Beyonce on Instagram, you would have noticed image after image of the superstar in some serious Ivy Park gear hinting at a relaunch of her ath-leisure brand.
She first launched Ivy Park in 2016 with a collection of stylish, yet practical gym gear that could be worn anywhere – merging street style with sportswear, and even modelled the collection herself – making it that much more lust worthy.
Following her first collection, the brand has been stocked by a number of retailers including Debenhams, Topshop and House of Fraser in the UK, and online, making it accessible internationally. Bey bought the brand outright last year, from British retail tycoon, Sir Philip Green, and became the only, and youngest, African American woman to own her own sportswear label.
In her latest update about Ivy Park, Beyonce announced a collaboration with Adidas, which is set to launch early next year. At present, the Ivy Park website is not in function but has a holding page that states, "Beyoncé and Adidas come together with a shared respect for and commitment to creativity, and the belief that through sport, we have the power to change lives...Beyoncé will be a creative partner for the brand, develop new signature footwear and apparel, as well as re-launch Ivy Park with Adidas."
The social media page for the label has also removed images from its Instagram page, indicating that Ivy Park’s latest collab, will be returning with a brand new image.
So far, from next year’s collaborative collection with the sportswear giant, Adidas, we have our eyes on the sneakers that Queen Bey rocked on Instagram, as she paired them with chunky gold chains around her ankles. The sneaker features Adidas’s three stripes, creative lacing, and pops of neon orange and burgundy.
We can't wait to see the full apparel collection !!!
