Aseel Omran has been stunning us with her impressive vocals since her debut album in 2007, however with a role in Netflix’s What If? the Saudi darling’s acting career is undeniably on the rise. And her latest role sees her starring in Bvlgari’s new spring/summer Glam Rebel campaign. Featuring fresh and edgy takes on some of the Italian house’s iconic Serpenti bags that come in new hues, chains, geometric patterns and studs, the collection is for women who write their own rulebooks, just like Omran.
In the video, the perfect muse, who also stars in the Roman jeweller’s latest Save the Children campaign alongside Lebanese actress Nadine Nassib Njeim, is understandably having a hard time choosing just one bag. Omran surveys a sushi dinner inspired conveyor belt lined with all the stunning new iterations of the signature Serpenti bags that feature the maison’s reimagined iconic diamond pattern.
Some highlighted pieces include the new Serpenti Cabochon bag, spotted with charcoal diamond metallic karun skin and white calf leather, with a softness of its matelassé body that cannot be denied. The bag, which comes with adjustable and detachable straps for versatility, is also available in platinum, metallic and white.
The video, which is shot by Dubai-based Iranian filmmaker and director Iman Naghavi and comes with a soundtrack by Tunisian producer Souheil Gasmi, also zooms in on the new Serpenti Forever Chain Pavé bag. The gleaming accessory features metallic lace, a golden chain and smooth calf leather frames, with each artisan-made panel reportedly requiring 12 hours of work. Plus, we get to feast our eyes on the two latest sparkling sensations, the Serpenti Diamond Blast and Diamond Blast Micro.
