The Tourism Development Council in Jazan just completed the development work for the village in time for the 12th winter festival, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
“Beautiful Jazan, Everyone’s Winter Resort” is the slogan that perfectly depicts the port city located on the southern corniche.
What are the renovations that took place this year?
The village director, Moussa bin Ali Namis, stated that construction works included the expansion of green spaces, accessible pathways for folk with special needs, relaxation area with public libraries, and even a cinema.
It’s your chance to discover Jazan’s landscape, culture, and unique beauty! Tourists love capturing the traditional mud hut (the typical house for mountain climate) and the house representing Farasan island.
Since it was established in 2009 by Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz, Jazan became the main site for the winter festival because it gives floor to the region’s heritage and archeological wonders.
