Well, we bring you a more feminine, Arab, and familiar version! Behold, Arab Girl With Sign.
A glance at her Instagram bio “Stay at home daughter” and we knew we could relate to her content. Started off in mid-January, her awesome online presence already earned itself a fanbase of 5K followers and counting.
Just like the other infamous account, @ArabGirlWithSign keeps an anonymous identity with statements on cardboard covering her eyes but we’re happy that we get to witness
This account hits close to home and adds humour to our timeline with a social aftertaste. All the while sharing anecdotal LOL-worthy statements, Arab Girl With Sign touches upon beauty ideals and double standards still dawned upon Arab women (ie: notice how she funnily mentions her baba and mama in her captions). She also celebrates the virtues that come with living in Arab society - and yes, our eternal love of food is one of them.
