The Red Sea Film Festival on the 12th-21st March 2020

The Red Sea International Film Festival is an annual film festival that will be held in Jeddah and will open for its first ever edition on March 12th in Jeddah. The festival will mainly focus on new storytelling trends, and emerging talents from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world and from the rest of the world and looks forwards establishing a solid foundation for the film industry in Saudi Arabia that may contribute to diversifying the kingdom’s economy.

2020 Riyadh Spartan Race on the 13th – 14th March 2020

This year’s edition of Riyadh’s Spartan Race promises to be the most adventurous yet. Organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), the exhilarating sporting event will take place on the 13th-14th March at the kingdom’s Dirab Motor Park. The infamous obstacle course invites all people of all abilities and genders to participate and what's more is that a women’s race will take place on the 13th of March. It’s your opportunity to get down and dirty (literally) because Spartan obstacles include mud, water, fire and barbed wire. Are your ready?

The Ladies European Tour on the 19th – 22nd March 2020

Saudi Arabia will host its first ever women’s golf tournament this month at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah, with an expected 108 golfing professionals in participation. The Ladies European Tour (LET) event joined forces with Golf Saudi and the Saudi Golf Federation. Female golfers, including Order of Merit winner Beth Allen, three-time LET winner Carly Booth and Solheim Cup hero Azahara Munoz will be present at the event. The prize? A $1.35 million winning purse.

Azimuth, Al Ula on the 5th – 7th March 2020

Azimuth will mark the closing of the Winter at Tantora festival, which has been running every weekend since 19th December 2019. So what is Azimuth? It’s a three day cultural festival set to take place in Al Ula and will celebrate food, film, music, art and history at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Word is Chainsmokers and Tinie Tempah will perform, so book your tickets before they sell out.

The Global AI Summit on the 30th-31st March 2020

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the Global AI Summit this month. The summit is a new global-level platform which hopes to promote the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies. The event will take place at the end of March and will be a pioneering international forum to advance AI and create knowledge sharing and interchange among global AI experts.
