Now, here’s something to celebrate in times of a global pandemic!
In this year’s World Happiness Report 2020, Saudi Arabia jumped to the 27th position globally and the 2nd place in the Arab world. And of course, this optimistic report was released on none other than the World Happiness Day on March 20, which you can still celebrate here.
The UN evaluates 156 countries every year based on indicators of happiness, well-being, and quality of life. Last year, the Kingdom ranked 28th place worldwide and in 2018, 33rd.

The report included some exciting predictions: the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah and Madinah would possibly enter the best 20 cities in the world in the near future with Makkah reaching the 35th place.
We may all be in isolation right now but it’s news like this that motivate us to keep our #socialdistancing practices for the sake of public health, well-being, and overall happiness. Stay positive everyone!
