Whether they took cues from Blake Lively’s Cinderella-inspired dress at Cannes last year or Emma Watson's award-winning role as Belle in “Beauty and the Beast,” the stars conspired to present a princess-themed Cannes 2017. We’ve cherry-picked 10 of the dreamlike dresses, whether they come with a Disney vibe, have a mystical element or a modern edge. They are gorgeous enough to lift our spirits after realising there’s a whole year to go before we get some more spectacular Cannes fashion.

Here’s a full look at all the beautiful princess-worthy outfits.

There’s nothing that doesn’t scream regal glamour as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shuts down the red carpet during the “Okja” premiere. The Bollywood legend is fairytale inspiration in Michael Cinco’s floor-sweeping off-the-shoulder powder blue ballroom gown with plunging neckline and fitted waist.

German Hollywood star Diane Kruger, who garnered the Best Actress Award, is regal at the Cannes 70th Anniversary screening in a Christian Dior gown with an embroidered bodice and layers of ruffles. The princess-style silvery lilac creation features scatterings of intricate beading and a criss-cross back.

Attending “The Beguiled” premiere, socialite Hofit Golan looks enchanting in a Disney-esque dress by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco. The fully embroidered powder blue gown with a high-low hem has a see through fitted bodice.

Swedish Victoria's Secret Angel Elsa Hosk adds a stroke of Cinderella magic at “The Beguiled” premiere in her custom Alberta Ferretti gown. Of course, the powder blue off-the-shoulder dress comes with a supermodel requisite, a thigh-grazing slit.

Hollywood darling Elle Fanning looks like she’s stepping out of a Disney movie set in this handiwork by Rodarte. By wearing the bespoke lavender tulle gown with ruched fitted bodice to “The Beguiled” premiere, the actress undoubtedly adds a whimsical touch to the red carpet.

Canadian model Winnie Harlow brings another dreamlike look to the red carpet in this breathtaking royal blue Zuhair Murad ballgown. She opted to look like a real-life princess for the “Loveless” premiere in the shimmery strapless dress with dipped neckline.

English model and actress Kimberly Garner looks every inch a princess during the “How To Talk To Girls at Parties" premiere. Garner donned a belted lilac tulle gown embroidered with crystals from Georges Hobeika's AW 16/17 Haute Couture collection.

For "The Meyerowitz Stories" premiere, Canadian model Coco Rocha chose to light up the red carpet in a fairytale-worthy dress. The ruffled light pink organza and lace gown from Georges Hobeika's SS17 Haute Couture collection is embroidered with flower-patterned crystals and pearls.

Rihanna is very much a modern-day princess in this dramatic white ballgown by Christian Dior. She teamed the bustier dress with a matching white silk taffeta coat while attending the “Okja” screening. Of course, the songstress had to flip the script on the red carpet by adding some Andy Wolf Eyewear sunglasses.

Award-winning Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor looks majestic in a shimmering gold brocade Elie Saab gown. The Indian high priestess of fashion chose the cinched dress with a plunging neckline and sheer elements for “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” premiere.
