Hollywood has shut down production of movies and TV shows across the entire industry, which also means filming for Keeping Up With The Kardashians might actually be a little different.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan is famed for smartphone camera expertise, and it was revealed by Kim Kardashian West on an episode of Jimmy Fallon’s “at home edition” that each of the stars of the show will use their phones to document their lives during self-isolation for a quarantine edition of their famed TV show. Kardashian West stated, “We filmed the entire season except for the last episode. So now that we’ve shut down production, it’ll be all of us in quarantine filmed separately by ourselves.”
In the face of the pandemic, Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to causes battling COVID-19, and has since decided to also produce hand sanitizers via Kylie Cosmetics. On March 31st 2020, Kylie and her mom-ager Kris Jenner, announced their collaboration with Coty Inc to donate sanitizers to hospitals in California who are currently facing sanitizer shortage.
Last year, Kylie sold a 51% share of her beauty business to Coty Inc, who will now be mass producing hand-sanitizers “dedicated to first responders working to support our communities" and will be donated to the “medical and emergency services staff.” As well as producing Kylie Skin products, the company will use its perfume manufacting facilities to produce the hydroalcoholic gel. In the meantime, Kylie Cosmetics has halted it’s distribution under the state of California’s order for residents to remain at home.

Kylie Jenner is also practicing social distancing amid the COVID 19 pandemic and shared a post on her Instagram page to urge her 166 million followers to do the same, with the caption, “I know I’ve already been doing my daily reminders about how important it is right now to practice social distancing and self-quarantine. I’m going on my ninth day. The coronavirus is a real thing. I listened to the Surgeon General this morning and even though I’ve already been doing my daily reminders, he definitely encouraged me to come on here and talk to you guys so you can see me and hear me.”
She also added, “If you live with your parents, you don’t want to go home and get your parents sick. You might have it and not even know and be infecting other people. It’s serious, and the only way that we’re going to slow this down is if we do this because there is not a cure right now. Nobody is immune to this. Millennials are not immune to this.”
