Ramadan fosters a heartwarming atmoaphere in which we witness a surge in charitable efforts. In the face of the pandemic, the needs to secure meals is growing and so, Dubai announced a campaign to secure food on the table of many struggling households.
This week, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, launched an initiative that provides aid to people and their families who have been affected by the coronavirus.

The new initiative is under the supervision of Her Highness, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bint Juma Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of UAE Food Bank, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Entitled the “10 Million Meals” campaign, the charitable cause targets folks suffering financially due to the economic consequences of the pandemic. Dubai’s “10 Million Meals” campaign pushes for solidarity and togetherness within the UAE and is the biggest community effort against the virus.
