After a couple of days of rumours swirling around, Yolanda Hadid just confirmed that her daughter Gigi Hadid is expecting a child with her longtime boo Zayn Malik, or better known as 'the most beautiful child in the world', as dubbed by their fanbases on social media.
Speaking to the Dutch broadcasting station RTL Boulevard, Gigi's mom is super shocked and happy about the whole thing: "Of course we are so excited. I'm excited to become a grandmother in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed."
How did it all start?
TMZ (who else!) posted this week that a “family source” has revealed that Gigi Hadid and her on & off beau, Zayn Malik are expecting a baby! According to the source, both the former One Direction singer, and super model’s families are ecstatic about the news which came just days after Gigi celebrated her 25th birthday with her family and Zayn as they are all quarantined together her family’s farm in Pennsylvania.
Another source close to the pair, who have always been private about their relationship status, spoke to ET and confirmed, "Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited! Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while, as she’s only a few months along. Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year, it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special. The couple and their families are overjoyed."

Gigi and Zayn have been on and off since 2015, and announced an official break up in 2018. However, the pair rekindled their romance at the tail end of 2019, and confirmed being back together on Gigi’s Instagram page on Valentine’s Day this year.
