Celebrity stylist, Elizabeth Stewart who is renowned for dressing the likes of Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts and Beyonce, to name just a few, has announced the launch of a charity auction on eBay.
Calling her charitable initiative “Chic Relief,” fashion lovers can expect to bid on a number of regional Arab designers including, Georges Hobeika, Azzi & Osta, Georges Chakra and Yousef Al Jasmi, amongst a plethora of international designers such as Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Christian Siriano and Ralph & Russo.
Every single outfit being auctioned once adorned the bodies of iconic celebrities including Cardi B, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, for red carpet events, music videos and more.
We have our eyes on Beyonce’s custom gown by Lebanese designers Azzi & Osta, which she wore to 2018’s Pre-Grammy Gala as well as Cardi B’s embellished bodysuit by Kuwaiti couturier, Yousef Al Jasmi.
Celebrity stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, has collaborated with eBay on “Chic Relief” in a bid to raise money for Direct Relief, which is an international humanitarian organization that is making efforts to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement she said, “I really wanted to do something to help front-line workers get the basic protection needed to combat this virus. Through this special eBay fashion event, 100 percent of proceeds will directly benefit Direct Relief, which is incredible. They are doing really important work right now coordinating with public health authorities, non-profit organizations, and businesses in the US and globally to provide [personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
The eBay auction will be live on eBay.com/chicrelief till May 27.
