Giving his fans, followers, citizens, and residents a real look into his life, Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has just launched a YouTube series that follows his personal story and life.
The series of videos touch on various aspects of Sheikh Mohammed’s life, memoirs, and journey. The first episode from the insightful series called “My First Home” is now available to watch on the streaming platform.
In the 7-minute video, viewers take a trip down memory lane with the ruler into his childhood, which is both fascinating and personal as he speaks about Umm Halaj, his first horse, which ignited his passion for equestrian sports, a hobby that is still very much a prominent part of his life.
He recalls poignant times from his youth such as when his mother would wake in the middle of night to find that he was missing from his bed, but instead at the stables tending to his horses.
There are also reenactments of the Ruler of Dubai’s life, as well as his own narrative along with footage from home videos from his personal family archive. Viewers can also see Sheikh Mohammed’s journey as an equestrian unfold as a timeline conveys him raising his pony and training it to become a race horse, with other appearances including members of his family including HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid AlMaktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, when he was a child.
More from the series will be released consecutively, which are all visual documents from the Sheikh Mohammed’s biography, “My Story: 50 Memories from 50 Years of Service.” The voice overs in the videos are in Arabic, but have English subtitles for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned for more!
