Why KSA’s Women’s Fitness Festival Is Not One To Miss

Ready for that post-workout endorphin rush?

Lockdown showed us that workouts don’t have to stop with gym closures! Active Saudis took part in a nationwide fitness campaign and kept things moving to the point of raising money for charity...

In a bid to encourage women in sports, the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) announced the first Women’s Fitness Festival (WFF): a free three-day event which will be live-streamed on Youtube from June 11 to June 13.

The SFA’s debut fitness festival will feature workout segments, panel discussions, meal prep and nutrition workshops, and amazing entertainment.

It’s none other than the international award-winning athlete Manal Rostom that will deliver a live Nike Training Club session and participate in a panel discussion. The leading fitness brand has also spoiled the participating athletes with workout attire and footwear for the women-centric event.

Our longtime favorite Saudi comedian and scholar, Dr. Hatoon Al Kadi, will be moderating the three panel discussions featuring top figures in sport, which will tackle the topics of Sports and Fitness, Mothers in Sports, and Breaking Barriers in Female Sports. You can also expect groundbreaking talks from Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to conquer Everest, Reema Juffali, a trailblazing Saudi race car driver, and Najia Alfadl, an awesome physical trainer in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 stresses on the evolvement of sports in the Kingdom and the festival falls perfectly under the umbrella. “The virtual seminar aims to contribute to success and betterment of women’s standing and success across sports, health, and wellness sectors,” read SFA’s statement.
