From a young age, Nourah Hamoud was drawn to art and creativity. At 9 years old, she started drawing pictures and developing her creative asset: impressive skillful hands and a heart of art.
Unfortunately, a horrible accident struck Hamoud’s childhood. The painter was hit with a knife which caused her to become blind, but that did not stop the Saudi creative to pursue her passions. Now, the trailblazer has upgraded the Saudi art scene with fast-selling painting and her distinguished abstract aesthetic. Her artworks stand as a token of her inborn talent, devotion, and perseverance.

Her success didn’t go unnoticed as the Saudi Minister of Culture himself praised the painter for her bravery. “Nourah Hamoud... a heroine who deserves support, and my colleagues at the ministry will contact her,” tweeted Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Farhan.
Where does Hamoud get her inspiration from? Her imagination is universal. According to Saudi Gazette, the artist is particularly fond of nature, heavenly bodies and galaxies, and real-life incidents. “I use devices that recognize colors when putting color in it. Also, I often got the assistance of some people around me in identifying colors,” Nourah told the daily.
Hamoud took part is various exhibitions to showcase her beautiful art and represent the cause of blind people. Although she doesn’t remember the world around her, Hamoud counts on touching and her imagination to guide her creative process. And this always leaves her fans in complete awe…
