In a recent interview with Africa News this week, Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, opened up about how she would “love to” star in Arabic movies.
She stated, “I just don’t speak the language. I think that I would love to be a part of the film industry anywhere. I love my job and I would learn a new language if I have to,” she said.
The 38 year old actress and film producer, who has previously starred in some Hollywood films and American TV shows, also revealed that herself and her husband Nick Jonas, are working on an unscripted Amazon series based on Indian pre-wedding celebrations, as she said, “I am developing a show with my husband which is for Amazon. It is based on the Indian tradition of sangeet (a music-filled pre-marriage ceremony).”
Not the only Amazon show she is working on, Priyanka is currently working on a series produced by the Russo Brothers and a “buddy comedy” alongside Mindy Kaling.
Chopra Jonas has been hard at work taking her role as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador seriously as of late too, as she has been utilizing her social media platforms to raise awareness about how to stay safe from the COVID-19 pandemic, and has also used Instagram to host a session with medical experts from the World Health Organization to answer questions about the coronavirus.
