Just an hour’s drive from Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah is a common destination for staycations for residents. The UAE’s newest resto “1484 by Puro” has set foot in the picturesque emirate and we’re here to tell you all about it. Located 1,484 meters above sea level - hence, the name, 1484 by Puro, the highest restaurant in the UAE, sits atop Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais mountain and boasts stunning views of the peaks and valleys of the Hajjar Mountains.
Expected to open its doors to diners from October 1st 2020, 1484 by Puro will offer up a Mediterranean menu and an array of activities. At present, Puro is an independent restaurant with two existing outlets – at the Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park and on Al Marjan Island. Guests to the restaurant’s newest site on the Jais Adventure Park will have the opportunity to couple their dining experience with a zip lining adventure!
Moreover, the venue has plans to host morning yoga sessions against the calming backdrop of the mountains, followed by a wholesome breakfast at the restaurant. Other dishes on the menu include fresh burrata, pan-fried sea bass, burgers, tiramisu, sticky date pudding and more.
In times of COVID-19, the facility is also adhering to the strict hygiene guidelines outlined by the government including social distancing between tables, having a maximum capacity of 76 guests, and thoroughly sanitizing all areas of the restaurant.
