Let's face it, we all look forward to Victoria Beckham’s take on sartorial style whenever London Fashion Week comes around and every season, the former Spice Girl, noted for her personal outfits and looks, ensures that her family is sitting up front and center at her runway shows every season. This year however, the pandemic scuppered the way fashion weeks all over the world are conducted but Mrs. Beckham found a wholesome way to present her Spring 2021 collection, with her family as her honored and only guests.
Following the launch of her latest collection, the infamous designer and mum of 4 took to Instagram to celebrate, with a portrait of her family, minus the presence of her eldest son, Brooklyn. She captioned, “My favorite (and only) guests this season! Love you all so much.”
The adorable, and highly fashionable, family photograph features ex-Manchester United footballer, David Beckham, and their children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, and of course, Victoria herself, who also mentioned that she missed Brooklyn and his fiancé, Nicola Peltz.
With the exception of Harper, who donned a printed purple dress, the family coordinated in slick monochromatic looks, in black and white, especially Romeo, Cruz and David, who opted for looks that had a sports-luxe appeal. Romeo wore a Dior x Air Jordan sleeveless knit and sneakers with Vivienne Westwood jewellery, whilst Cruz was spotted in a Dior saddle cross body bag, and David in a sporty black parka and slides.
Victoria stuck to her guns and wore a look she wears like no other, tailored trousers and a clean silk blouse. In spite of COVID-19, she maintained her fashion week family tradition, whilst presenting a killer digital fashion show in which pieces were strictly tailored, floor length and had a modest appeal about them. Colours were muted tones of beige and black with pops of lilac and pea green. Structured and fluidity worked together flawlessly throughout the collection. Trousers go beyond floor-length, and while minimalism is a core aesthetic for the luxury British label, there were also some surprising, yet muted prints.
