Saudi showjumper Dama Malhas will take part in the festive competition today!
Joining the National Day jubilations, 50 Saudi equestrians and 100 horses from all over the country will participate today in a special showjumping championship. Al-Mutabagani Equestrian Center, Saudi Arabia’s first ever equestrian club, organized this year’s 90th National Day event with the support of the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF) and the Ministry of Sport.
Even since its launch, The Al-Mutabagani Equestrian Center has supported and launched activities and initiatives empowering Saudi’s youth and women. The center has been active in training a number of female, and male, showjumpers to represent the Kingdom at events all over the world for over 35 years.

The head of SAEF’s committee is Dr. Mahfouz bin Talib, who iterated that the tournament, amid the pandemic, would adhere to strict health and safety restrictions to ensure safety. Renowned Saudi showjumper, Arwa Al Mutabagani, the chairperson of the organizing committee of the event, had invited celebrated Saudi showjumpers including Dalma Malhas, Abdullah Al Rahji and Khaled Al Sharbatly to compete with cash prizes of over $20,000.
The Al-Mutabagani Equestrian Center is set toalso host a grand national showjumping tournament from 1st – 3rd October 2020 with prizes amounting to SR45,000.
