Set to be built along the city’s Al Mamzar Creek, the Dubai Green Project will be an open garden and will be continually developed and grown over a four year period, starting in 2021. Costing approximately AED 2 billion, the space will be a haven of greenery and exotic flowers.
Dubai is a heaving tourist destination – predominantly for its clean sandy beaches and this particular development in the city aims to add around 1 million square meters of beach stretching from Al Mamzar beach to Umm Suqeim 2, making more accessible to local residents, as well as more opportunities for people to participate in water activities and sports, along with being able to use new cycling and running tracks.
