Congratulations are in order for Dubai’s royal family, as HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed a new grandchild last week. His daughter, HH Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority took to social media to announce that she has given birth to a baby girl, who they have named Shaikha bint Faisal AlQassimi.
On Instagram, HH Sheikha Latifa captioned her post, “We were blessed today with a baby girl, Shaikha bint Faisal AlQassimi.” The new royal arrival is her second child with her husband Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi, who also have a son, Mohammed bin Faisal, who was born in 2018. Belonging to the royal family of Ras Al Khaimah, the couple were married in 2016.
HH Sheikha Latifa’s son Mohammed celebrated his second birthday in July this year and her husband Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi shared heart-warming pictures of Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed with his grandson. The proud grandfather is often seen sharing family pictures with his grandchildren on social media and happens to enjoy spending time with them.
