With the start of the new year, the Saudi Ministry of Culture launched an online contest calling for the submission of cultural ideas with prizes of up to SR300,000 ($80,000).
The cultural ideation asks participations to share forward-thinking creative proposals for festivals and events in the Kingdom. You can submit your idea here and you may be one of the three winners.
Part of Vision 2030’s Quality of Life Program, Saudi Arabia’s first cultural ideathon marks the launch of the activities of the ministry’s Cultural Ideas Center.
According to Arab News, the marathon is held in financial partnership with NCB and is aimed at transforming ideas into show-stopping cultural events. Participants will also be benefiting trainings like design thinking methods and ideation workshops.

The contest is split into 11 cultural categories of museums, films, heritage, fashion, libraries, literature and publishing, culinary arts, visual arts, architecture and design, theatre and performing arts, and music.
This is an excellent opportunity for creative individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies to unleash their creativity into cultural events and festivals to share. The Cultural Ideas Center is a key space for idea generation under the realm of the Saudi Ministry of Culture.
