Joining forces with soda giant, Pepsi, Emirati hit singer behind “Ahebbak” and “Boushret Kheir”, Hussain Al Jassmi, released a new song dedicated to Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s renowned poet, Prince Badr Bin Abdul Mohsin, wrote the lyrics of the song titled, “Hay Hal Sot,” available on Pepsi’s official YouTube channel.
In a statement, Al Jassmi spoke about the new release and how music unites people and his love for Saudi Arabia, “Music brings people together – it bridges gaps and connects us with people and places far beyond our language or place of origin,” he said. “This song in particular, captures our love and respect for the Kingdom, its thriving culture and incredible people.”
A music video is also soon to be released for the song, and the Emirati singer also mentioned what it was like to work with Prince Badr Bin Abdul Mohsin and how he feels about working on the song, “the creative process and experience has been extremely rewarding,” he added.
Working with Pepsi is a major move for Hussain Al Jassmi, as the globally renowned brand has previously worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyonce. “Saudi Arabia is an extraordinary country – rich in history, culture and arts. The song – a love tribute to the nation and its people reflects the spirit of the Kingdom and reminds people of its beautiful roots in poetry,” said Mustafa Shamseldin, chief marketing officer for Africa, Middle East & South Asia at PepsiCo.
