With Saudi Arabia’s cultural overhaul and welcoming of tourists, Kingdom has become a “bucket list” vacation for many of us, and it seems we may be able to travel there with no need to quarantine on the proviso that we are vaccinated and can prove it.
In an announcement by the kingdom’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), travelers who have been fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine upon arrival into the kingdom, but they must be in possession of vaccination certificates that have been provided by authorities in their own home country. The approved vaccines are Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson.
For non-Saudis that are not vaccinated and wanting to travel into the kingdom, GACA have set a seven day quarantine.

Saudi Arabia’s health officials are working hard to ensure that citizens and residents are being vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, and dispelling the myths and rumors around “side effects” of the vaccination.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, has stressed that the vaccinations are all safe and necessary for protection against the fatal effects of the virus, and that misinformation about rumored negative side effects are a dangerous threat to society.
And given COVID-19, the two countries will establish a vaccination certificates mechanism to promote safe and smooth travel.https://t.co/aRxBMjwHoc
