When the royal couple was expecting their firstborn, Archie, they had received several name suggestions from children in a UK based school. One 7-year-old child had suggested the name “Lily” which Meghan had found “pretty,” whilst Harry also expressed that he liked the name.
Later, when the Duke and Duchess travelled to Melbourne, they had met a fan whose child named “Harriet,” which would be the female version of Harry. The Prince had commented that it is a “great name.”
Following the death of Prince Harry’s paternal grandfather, Prince Philip, in April, UK betting sites are receiving bets on a predication that the name of the new baby could well be a tribute to the late royal and that the name Philippa could be what the baby will be named. A spokesperson for UK betting site Ladbrokes told a British publication, “The support for baby Philippa is showing no signs of slowing down, and we’ve been forced to trim the odds again that it’s the name for Harry and Meghan’s daughter,” and that the odds for the name are 3/1.
Meghan Markle said the book inspired by Prince Harry looks to capture "the warmth, joy, and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life."https://t.co/ySrCqmFYMx
