In 2019, Saudi Arabians across the country were delighted with a packed calendar of everything fun, fantastic, and family friendly, through Saudi Seasons, a series of events and programs grouped into 11 tourism seasons. This year, Saudi Seasons, which was created to transform the Kingdom into one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, is planning to roll out an even bigger and better calendar of events, starting in Q4.
The upcoming program was announced on VisitSaudi.com, an official Saudi Tourism Authority website, through a video edit showing highlights of seasons passed and promising a calendar of events and entertainment that will be twice as big. On the occasion of its two-year break finally ending (due to covid-19 restrictions and safety measures), Saudi Seasons is asking everyone across the Kingdom to visit www.2years.sa and share their suggestions and opinions, to create a calendar by the people, for the people.
As with its debut seasons, the upcoming program will offer residents and visitors to of Saudi Arabia the opportunity to experience days of entertainment, sport, culture, and art activities suitable for all.
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) announced the launch of Saudi Seasons in February 2019, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives to enrich the lives of locals and expats. Its success was remarkable and this year, as the event promises to be twice as big, Saudi Arabia is also looking to continue its drive to develop tourism and entertainment offerings, while also boosting job opportunities and economic growth all around.
