Much-loved, UAE-based, fashion label, Bambah, has taken its fresh summer collections to Sahel, the beaches on the North Coast of Egypt, in a kitsch “mobile” pop-up truck that is also a boutique. To make their collections accessible to all, no matter where they are, the travelling boutique will go from one destination to another for the length of the summer and pop up in a variety of popular resorts and destinations.
The truck is the brainchild of Bambah’s in-house design team and has transformed it into a transportable version of their flagship boutiques in both Dubai and Cairo. The fashion vehicle comes as part of the ultra-femme brand’s new resort line which has a focus on being easy to wear and effortless. The pop-up truck also contains a changing room for privacy, air conditioning, and displays of their accessories and clothes.
This week, Bambah’s Resort 21 collection will debut as a beach fashion show being held at Kiki’s Beach Club in Hacienda White, against a backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The show will have a nautical theme, and the collection features a variety of casual summer dresses, chic beach cover-ups, boho kaftans, Breton stripes, and effortless linen sets. Staying true to their feminine style, fabrics are luxe, and silhouettes feature ruffles, off shoulder tops, oversized bows, and vibrant prints – perfect for any summer occasion.
Speaking about the travelling concept, Egyptian entrepreneur and founder of Bambah, Maha Abdul Rasheed, says, “I wanted to create something extraordinary… something young, fresh, and flirty; I wanted the girls to be striking and the sun shining.” Having launched in 2010, the label has been donned by the likes of Emma Roberts, Maisie Williams, Priyanka Chopra, Dita Von Teese and ultimate fashion icon, HM Queen Rania of Jordan.
