Much loved Egyptian actress, Dalal Abdel Aziz has passed away at the age of just 61. With over 30 years of memorable performances throughout her acting career, she also leaves behind her husband, iconic Egyptian comedian, Samir Ghanem and their two daughters, actresses, Donia and Amy Samir Ghanem.
Dalal’s extensive career saw her appear in a number of roles across a variety of genres, with some of her most noteworthy appearances including the comedy Ahlan Ya Doctor (Hello Doctor) alongside her husband, and Hob Fel Takhshibah (Love in Prison). Her most recent hit movies included Asef Ala El Ezag (Apologies for Disturbing) and the recent 2020 Ramadan comedy series Valentino.
Sadly, Dalal Abdel Aziz’s health took a turn when she contracted the coronavirus and battled related complications for a number of weeks before she passed away. The Arab entertainment industry are grieving her loss and many stars took to social media to express their condolences, including, Yousra, Cyrine Abdelnour, Mona Zaki, Dorra Zarrouk, Hend Sabri, Radwa Elsherbiny, Laila Eloui, Arwa Gouda, Ahmed Helmy, Saba Mubark, Shereen Reda, Huda El Mufti, Nicolas Mouawad, and Nour.
