Soon after moving to Dubai in 2005, the go-getter was cherry-picked by The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation as the Manager for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Benkhallouk was in charge of initiating innovation and entrepreneurship programmes across the Arab world and had the duty of managing international and regional outreach multi–projects. She was a central figure when it came to the Sawaed Challenge Fund, a programme aimed to bolster talented entrepreneurs’ skills across the region.
While climbing up the success ladder, Benkhallouk has held top positions in sales and marketing, communications and business development. She has aided Fortune 500 companies, multi-nationals, governments, local players, SMEs and non-profit organisations across various industries as a solution partner. Her forte is helping them in developing business strategies that drive vision, performance and creativity. Her sustainable strategies and business plans are renowned for gaining sales, profits and market shares while creating an inclusive and engaging work culture. Benkhallouk is also behind Tawazoun, a think-tank community that backs diversity and gender balance. In addition, Benkhallouk supports various social initiatives and participates actively in associations that work on women's empowerment and female entrepreneurship in Morocco and the Arab region. As well as being a mentor and Co-Founding member of the LINK, a UAE-based mentoring initiative for professional women, she is Vice President of the Dubai chapter of Soroptimist International, a worldwide scheme that emboldens women and girls. Plus, Benkhallouk is a Strategic Partner and member of the advisory board for Challenge to Change ME, the Middle East’s first mental wellness network for women, and she is involved with Lean in Arabia too.
