Saudi Arabia allocated $5.3 million) to distribute coronavirus vaccines to developing member states in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The effort to fight the pandemic globally is funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
According to Arab News, 22 developing countries of the bloc will benefit from this pledge.
Saudi Arabia also invited other countries, charities and private sector stakeholder to join similar initiatives that are promoting the equal distribution of vaccines around the world.
