AirBnB and Warner Bros partnered up to recreate Carrie Bradshaw’s brownstone apartment, which became iconic since the show first hit HBO. In honor of the forthcoming sequel, “And Just Like That,” every meticulous detail of Carrie’s apartment, including her laptop with a post it note stuck on it with her WiFi password, right down to the shade of pistachio that paints the walls has been bought to life.
Vogue magazines and martini glasses adorn the shelves, and the all-important closet has been recreated and is brimming with the tv star’s most stylish pieces, from her ultra femme dresses and her favorite Manolo Blahniks to her gold “Carrie” necklace and infamous Patricia Field tutu outfit she wore in the opening credits of Sex & The City.
Anyone can try all of her fashions at the apartment on! The style of the Sex & The City girls was one of the many reasons the show was so popular. Creating a buzz around the upcoming sequel, AirBnb and Warner Brothers are inviting their guests to come and play dress up in Carrie’s closet. That’s not all! This curated experience calls for a photoshoot of a lifetime.
If you choose to book a stay there, Sarah Jessica Parker, in the style of Carrie will virtually welcome you into the space.
Parker said in a statement: “The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy. I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.”
Bookings for the Bradshaw apartment will open on November 8th on AirBnb, and you’ll be able to enjoy Carrie’s home for just $23USD per night (an accolade to the show airing 23 years ago.)
