On Sunday 28th November 2021, our favorite “Mean Girls” actor, Lindsay Lohan took to her official Instagram account to announce some major news – she is officially engaged!
In a carousel of pictures on the social media platform she shares snaps of herself, the ring and the caption, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love.”
So what do we know about Lindsay’s fiancé, Bader Shammas?
Well it’s been reported that he is Lebanese, and works at Credit Suisse in the UAE as an assistant vice president. The couple met in Dubai, where Lindsay has been living for a few years now.
Shammas was first mentioned when Lindsay posted a group picture on Instagram from RedFestDXB back in February 2020 (pre-covid), where she mentioned that he was indeed her “boyfriend” but the caption was swiftly removed and had sparked rumors that the pair had split up.
Of course, those rumors are just that as the newly engaged couple look over the moon at their big news.
In a previous interview, Lohan had once mentioned that she would like to marry someone “who hates the spotlight”, “doesn’t have Instagram”, and is “a smart businessman” and it seems that she found her perfect man in Shammas who happens to tick all of those boxes.
Having taken a break from her acting career, we’re not sure when the couple are tying the knot as Bader Shammas lives in Dubai, and Lohan could be returning to America to get back into acting in movies, whilst also launching a reality TV show with her siblings, similar to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It has also been rumored that the Freaky Friday star may also be returning to her singing career having released her second album back in 2005 entitled, “A Little More Personal (Raw).”
