Congratulations are in order for beauty and fragrance mogul, Mona Kattan as she has just gotten engaged to her beau, Hassan El Amin. Her announcement on social media featured a 10-picture carousel from her romantic weekend of herself and El Amin and of course, her diamond engagement ring, was captioned, “Forever Ever.”
So what do we know about Kattan’s fiancé, Hassan El Amin? According to his LinkedIn profile, he is the head of faculties at Middle East and Africa at Aon Reinsurance Solutions and had moved to Dubai after studying at Cass Business School in London and graduating with a Master's of Science.
Not just the academic sort, he also has an Instagram account shared with his two siblings, Sally and Ahmed, called @the.elamins – showing that he is just as family orientated as Mona.
Hassan El Amin’s sister Sally often features in some of Mona’s Instagram stories and posts and is rather glamorous herself. She has a background in graphic design and illustration and her high profile clients include Huda Beauty – making it quite the family affair!
Mona and Hassan’s engagement follows a string of accomplishments for both the Kattan sisters this year as they launched a number of announcements, including new concept “Ketish.” Launched by Huda Beauty Angels, which falls under their on venture capital firm, HB Investments, “Ketish” is a feminine care brand that is helmed by ex-Huda Beauty product developer, Eman Abbass.

Mona Kattan’s line of fragrances, Kayali, also had some incredibly successful launched over 2021 including the award winning Sweet Diamond Pepper Pink fragrance, Invite Only and just last week, Eden Juicy Apple, featuring notes of red apples, sweet berries and fresh floral notes.
